iOk, So in the left picture two days after my operation in hospital and last week in the right pic. I felt so weak, tired and down. Although I've always been positive about my Stoma, I had little self confidence to begin with, I wanted a healthy life I wanted to go to the gym or swimming and last five minutes without needing the toilet or just feeling so down I didn't have the courage to go anyway, I wanted to feel amazing. So after three weeks of having my stoma I got myself a gym membership, since then my energy levels have been high I feel great I feel well in myself and most importantly I feel happy. Although the past 6 weeks haven't been perfect I have got back on track and I am fitter than ever thanks to my stoma. If your worried about looks DON'T. The most important thing is you are happy, healthy and you and your prettiest quality is your heart. If you ever worry about going through with an operation such as this, just look at your quality of life being poorly constantly and compare it to feeling brilliant every day. You may not believe me now but honestly it will help you be YOU again.
